Overview

Based in Milford, CT, Franchise Brands, LLC was created in 2005 with the support and guidance of the founders of SUBWAY® restaurants. It was founded on a basic principle: to invest in small and mid-market companies with experienced management. Companies may currently be franchising or demonstrate the potential to do so.

Franchise Brands, LLC seeks partnerships with successful companies and will evaluate each business on its own merits. Special consideration is given to businesses with low franchisee investment costs and operational simplicity.

Investments are considered in a number of industries, including food and beverage, retail, business to business services and consumer products.

The company’s vision is to become the franchisor of choice for entrepreneurs.

Experienced Partner – The Franchise Brands, LLC executive team is experienced in all phases of franchising.

Our Relationships – We will introduce your company to brokers, franchisees and vendor partners when appropriate.

Day-to-Day Operations – The partner company generally remains where it is currently headquartered and owners continue to run day-to-day operations.

Access to Resources – Franchise Brands, LLC will assign a member of its team, at its expense, to act as a liaison to partner companies. The liaison will be the primary point of contact for resources.

Company Owned Locations – Owners generally retain ownership of company stores while existing franchises move into the new partnership.

The founders of Doctor's Associates Inc. (DAI), the franchisor of SUBWAY® sandwich shops, may, from time to time, advise the managers of Franchise Brands, LLC regarding its portfolio companies. However, persons contemplating doing business with Franchise Brands should not assume that any founder will provide advice to Franchise Brands, LLC and should not otherwise rely on the franchising and other business expertise of any founder.
